Dominic is a serial entrepreneur with a strong foundation in commercial real estate (CRE) energy efficiency and investment. As Principal at RentWise, he leads New Business Development, Investment Sales, Fund Acquisitions, and Leasing—driving strategic growth and delivering measurable value to partners. 

Before RentWise, Dominic built and exited an award winning commercial energy solutions firm operating across DC, MD, PA, NJ, and DE. The firm specialized in brokering commercial natural gas and electricity contracts and executing large-scale energy efficiency retrofits—modernizing over 20 million square feet of CRE assets.  

Projects were structured to maximize incentives through utility rebates, green energy incentives, PJM Interconnection capacity market programs—a program tied to the electric grid serving 13 states and the District of Columbia, and Section 179D federal tax deductions for qualifying energy-efficient installations. 

Dominic combines deep CRE operational insight with energy infrastructure expertise and investment strategy. Known for identifying high-leverage opportunities and executing with discipline, he builds scalable ventures that deliver both impact and strong returns. 

He operates at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution—where capital meets performance.

Shane Sie Brownell earned an M.S. in Finance from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business and is currently pursuing a CPA, a Master’s in Tax Law, and a Juris Doctorate. He has completed coursework in Tax, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate Law at Georgetown University Law Center.

Shane joined Ritz Banc Group (RBG) in Arlington, Virginia, where he focused on asset management for $800m real estate portfolio and responsible for than $80m in rents and capital projects. Shane lead structured finance, financial statement analysis, FP&A, Partnership Tax, strategy, fund management, stakeholder management, and process improvement.

Shane has almost two decades of experience managing single family and multifamily tenants (3,000+ units). He has also managed office (500k+ SF), and industrial assets (500k+ SF), managing institutional tenants including Disney, Lockheed Martin, Georgetown University, and MedStar. As a principal, he brings an institutional toolkit and perspective to the RentWise platform. 

At RentWise, Shane is focused on operations and finance.

Yajcely brings extensive real estate experience in underwriting, structuring, acquiring, selling, and managing properties across diverse markets including Northern Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Texas. Her hands-on expertise spans every stage of the investment and management process, giving her a comprehensive understanding of what drives value and performance. Her strategic vision and operational focus empower the company to consistently exceed client expectations and drive sustainable growth.

As a leader at RentWise, Yajcely is dedicated to mentoring and developing her team while ensuring exceptional service across our platform. 

Itzamar is an architect with over 10 years of experience managing residential, commercial, and urban projects across the U.S. and Latin America. Her deep expertise in overseeing the full project lifecycle—from concept and permitting through occupancy and operations—gives her a unique advantage as a Property Manager. She expertly coordinates teams, navigates complex regulatory environments, and optimizes processes to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Outside of her role at Rentwise, Itzamar is committed to social impact—supervising risk mitigation in vulnerable communities and contributing to urban planning in high-risk areas. This work adds a thoughtful, responsible dimension to her approach, enhancing her focus on compliance, quality control, and efficient resource management to deliver exceptional value for property owners and tenants alike.

Mercedes Nuñez is an accomplished professional with a career spanning real estate, international organizations, and the private sector. As a Property Manager at RentWise Property Company, she brings a disciplined, analytical approach to operations, asset oversight, and tenant management, with a focus on long-term value and institutional standards.

She previously served as an Administrative Associate with the United Nations in Venezuela, where she provides senior-level operational, protocol, and executive support in a complex international environment. Her work includes financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning, supported by strong command of enterprise systems such as UMOJA and data visualization tools.

Previously, Mercedes held executive leadership and board roles in the pharmaceutical and real estate sectors. In these roles, she led teams through periods of growth and transition, strengthened operational efficiency, and contributed to high-level strategic decision-making.

Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, Mercedes brings strong cross-cultural communication skills and sound judgment to every role. Her professional approach is grounded in preparation, accountability, and stewardship—principles that guide her work in property management and organizational leadership.

Saima is a Chartered Accountant [CA(Nam)] with over 11 years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting. She has a strong track record of enhancing financial systems, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements. Saima’s expertise lies in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial oversight across diverse sectors.

A proud Philadelphia native, Aaron Wallace brings 7 years of full-time real estate experience and a proven record of completing hundreds of residential and commercial transactions across the Philadelphia Tri-State region and the DC/Maryland/Virginia market. Having lived in both established and emerging neighborhoods, he offers clients valuable insight into diverse communities and evolving market trends.

His deep knowledge of the housing market, combined with creativity, drive, and strong negotiation skills, enables him to provide thoughtful, honest counsel that empowers clients to make sound, informed decisions.
